People don't reject environmentalism — in everyday life, it simply gets forgotten. Taiwan Beautify Formosa Association is an environmental non-profit built around one core idea: lowering the barrier.
We design actions that are easier to join and sustainable choices that are simpler to make, so that more people can naturally practise environmentalism in their daily lives.
Our work runs along three lines: beach cleanups that turn effort into visible data, Re-Beauty Island — Taiwan's first second-hand cosmetics store that keeps resources flowing, and advocacy that makes the hidden costs of consumption visible.
